A Christian’s Response To Death and Some Good Advice

Michael Spencer’s mother died yesterday and today he wrote a few paragraphs that were probably more therapeutic than for our benefit, but in them you can see the great hope that we have as Christians, that parting is the sweetest of all sorrows for Christians, and some good advice for Christians who experience death in their families.   2. What do you tell a non-believer who is a very good friend, that is about 50 years old and was involved in an accident where he was driving drunk and killed a 75 year old woman! he and his family are devestated. I just don’t know what to say. Any advice would be helpful.

  3. I would tell them that there is hope and forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
    Beyond that, I don’t know what else can be said. Only the Gospel can comfort in these kind of tragedies.
